Billy (ref no 94) is a one year old Border Collie cross Rottweiler who arrived at the shelter in February due to a family allergy. Billy is wary and shy in his kennel but once out he’s a true star and really comes alive. Billy is great fun and very sociable, especially with other dogs.

He tends to mouth when excited and in a home can become possessive over stolen items. Needs a confident owner. Billy can be rehomed with children 12 years + and is good with dogs. Billy cannot be rehomed with cats. Large breed experience recommended.  read more »

Meet Sasha and Billy! Sasha is a 4 year old Pomeranian, neutered female who is looking for a new home with her Pomeranian pal Billy (neutered), also 4 years old. She is out-going, very friendly and enjoys walks and cuddles on the sofa. She is not really used to children, other dogs and will chase cats. Sasha is a gorgeous lady who will be happy to have as many cuddles as you can give!

He is a lovely chap but does growl at strangers, so this will need to be taken into consideration if you wish to meet and/or adopt Billy. He is a bit babyish in his behaviour so really would benefit from some training to teach him how he should act. Once you get to know Billy he is a very sweet natured dog, it will just take a bit of time and patience. Hi, today I took my little boy billy and Rosie to the beach, Billy ran straight into the sea and was having so much fun, my fiance was there holding him by his harness as we were worried about the waves, but then suddenly out of no where a big wave covered him :( He was ok after but I noticed he drunk some of the sea water :( and on our mad rush back to the dryer part of the beach im sure he swallowed a little more 0_0

Well my rosie had the same thing happen and she is fine, but billy got home and was whining then he seemed all hunched and yelping and we couldnt pin point what he was yelping over, I even touched his nose at one point and he yelped :( then while later he was sick and it was loads of water, this happened twice then little bits after that...now I was in bed with him and he is kinda winging hard to explain but A kinda grown...breath...grown you can hardly hear it but I can as im so worried.  read more »
